Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing needs, including production-related matters involving day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems.
- Develop and modify manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing processing methods and equipment.
- Work with other team members and vendors.
- Ensures equipment is operational by collaborating with maintenance while following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
- Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs.
- Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks.
Qualifications:
- Possess excellent technical knowledge of the extrusion process and materials combined with good problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Solidworks, Indusoft Web Studio / Aveva Edge and Productivity Suite plc programming software.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer, Material Science, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Machine Operator, 1st and 2nd Shift
$18-20/hour

Description:
1st shift is 6am-3:30pm M-Th, 2nd shift is 3:45pm-1:45am M-Th.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating machines: Preparing machines for production, including calibration and cleaning
- Monitoring and adjusting machines: Monitoring machine settings and performing minor adjustments as needed
- Ensuring quality: Inspecting machines and products for quality, and verifying output for flaws
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing issues that arise during a shift.
- Maintaining records: Creating and managing records of approved and defective units, and activity logs
- Following safety regulations: Adhering to health and safety regulations, and wearing personal protective equipment when required.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Heavy machining experience
CNC Machine Operator
$23-28/hr

Description:
A CNC operator is directly involved in the programming, set-up, and operation of CNC machines
Responsibilities:
- Using the CNC machine
- Operating industrial machinery, which can include a hydraulic press, grinder, borer or overhead crane
- Fitting the right tools to active machines
- Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
- Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
- Devising a work plan to carry out daily machining efficiently
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years experience setting up and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools and gages

Description:
Prepare machines to start a production cycle٫ performing calibration٫ cleaning and other activities. Monitor and properly adjust machine settings. Supply raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines. Check parts with precision٫ using appropriate measuring tools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate work equipment, power tools and specialized instruments used in plant operations
- Maintain communication with team and management to ensure that work will be completed on schedule and in compliance with established practices
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with team members, contractors and company objectives and be willing to work in any and all areas of operations as requested to maintain team assets
- Help participate in the training of team members
- Maintain cleanliness and general appearance of facilities and surrounding work area
- Must be able to identify work priorities, meet deadlines and function with little or no supervision
- Will be required to assist in troubleshooting and repairing problems with possible heavy lifting and working in cramped quarters
- Will be held accountable for assembly quality and consistency, and final quality of finished product
